This is the reserve solider basic course that I attended sometime ago. Suddenly I have the mood to blog about it. The duration of the course is one month. Accommodation and food are provided for the whole month, uniform are also provided. Physical and mental are needed to finish this course. We need to go through some physical test, blood test and body check up. Only those who pass those tests can attend the course.

There should be the photo of the main entrance but dunno why I can't find it.

There are limited photo when I am in there, as I didn't bring my camera into the camp. Because It is hard to take care of our valuable items when we are in the camp. These photos are taken by those senior that has become helper to guide and help us throughout the 1 month course.





This is the 1st thing we do when we arrive, register ourselves get military number, get uniform and so on.



After that is the hair cutting section, sarjan is there to cut our hair. Before cutting everything, he tried some funky style and give us some time to have a look at our style.

There are also many briefing and orientation at the first few days.



at night we will attend classes about strategy and military stuff. It is not easy to concentrate in the class, because morning is too tired.



How many people is sleeping in the class?

Punishment will be given if found sleeping in class.



We also learn to sing the reserved solider song and memorize some principal of solider.

It will be very sleepy during the whole course.



This is the rehearsal for the opening ceremony, we need to sing the song loud and clear. And what to do when high ranking officer comes in.



This is during the actual opening ceremony. Everyone in uniform that are iron properly, shoe that has been polished and every other things in neatest condition.



the highest rank officer will greet the higher rank officer that comes in.



Everyone keeps quiet to listen to the speech of the colonel. This silent condition cannot be found anywhere else, especially when others are giving speech.

So this is the opening ceremony of the course.

The real course begins after the opening ceremony.

I am back, finally

After so long finally I am back, not that I don't wanna blog. I am really busy doing my stuff like assignments, Final Year Projects, study and etc (Actually is lazy). Recently just get addicted into a game called Plants vs Zombie this is a very addictive game. There are only 1 simple rule that is grow plants at your lawn, backyards and rooftop to protect the zombies from eating your brains. So why this is addictive? various type of plants, different types of mini games, challenging survivor mode and many more for you to find out.

There are many plants available for you to choose to defend yourself.



the zombie will try to get you. Just kill them and defend yourself.



I will blog back what I missed in this few months starting form the next post. Be back for some military experience. Here is one of the photo.

Due to internet problem, studying for exam and some other matter it has been a long time since I updated. I have decided to take a short break. Will be back in 1st of July 2009 with updates. Due to some reason I won't be able to blog for this period. C ya soon.

Fire!!! (almost)

This happen somewhere very near my house last week.
This is not the 1st time I experience this near my house. Previously it is just in front of my house, after some burning the cable will drop down and fell on the floor.



Besides the spark, we can also hear many sound effects and sometimes crackers sound can be heard. But we dare not pour water on it, wondering what will happen if we do so.



This is during the explosion. Once we saw this, we called the bomba and also TNB. We get experience from previous incident. If we don't call the TNB fast we will not have electricity for few hours.



This is what we can see after one hour after the call being made. 1st to arrive TNB just within 10 minutes, polis arrive within 20 minutes and the Bomba took 1 hour to reach here. Luckily the fire does not go worst. I have prepared the fire extinguisher, in case the cable dropped down to the ground.

Luckily no such thing happens this time.

TNB have real high efficiency, the reach the scene fast and turn off the power supply fast. They also bring the cable here in a very short duration. They even change the cable when there are heavy rain and also thunder. The fixed the cable in any situation. Much better than what I expect.
